    About Mica Chips

Themajor ingredient in kaolin is the mineral Kaolinite also known as hydrousaluminum silicate and its chemical name is: Al2Si2O5(OH)4. Kaolin is alsocalled China clay. Kaolin is a naturally occurring whitish & soft claysubstance that have developed from the chemical weathering of granite, anigneous feldspar rocks in hot, moist climates. Kaolin can be in white, darkbrown, reddish brown, yellow, gray and orange color. Kaolin offered by CMS hashigh whiteness and brightness. Kaolin improves opacity & finds applicationin partial replacement of TiO2 & substantial replacement of syntheticaluminum silicates.

    Impressive Insulation Performance

Due to their high purity and density, our mica chips perform excellently as electrical and thermal insulators. Their natural resistance to heat and electricity makes them the preferred choice for protection and safety in various manufacturing processes and end products.

    Versatile Applications in Industry

Silver white mica chips are widely used in paints, ceramics, rubber, and linoleum flooring, thanks to their unique set of properties. They enhance the durability, finish, and performance of final goods, ensuring longevity and aesthetic appeal in both functional and decorative contexts.

    FAQ's of Mica Chips:

Q: How are the mica chips processed to achieve high purity and a lustrous finish?

A: Our mica chips are carefully mined and subjected to advanced purification techniques. This process removes impurities, resulting in a purity level of 99%. Following purification, the chips are shaped into flakes with a lustrous surface finish for enhanced visual and functional performance.

Q: What are the primary applications of silver white mica chips?

A: These mica chips are extensively used for insulation purposes, as well as in paints, ceramics, rubber products, and linoleum flooring. Their high hardness and reflective qualities contribute to improved durability, electrical resistance, and decorative effects within these applications.

Q: When should mica chips be added during the manufacturing of paints and rubber?

A: Mica chips are typically incorporated during the blending or mixing stage of production. This ensures even dispersion throughout the material, maximizing both their insulating and aesthetic properties in the final product.

Q: Where can these mica chips be sourced and exported from?

A: Our silver white mica chips are manufactured and supplied directly from India. As a trusted exporter, we cater to domestic and international clients with consistent quality and reliable logistics.

Q: What benefits do mica flakes offer in linoleum flooring?

A: Mica flakes enhance linoleum flooring by providing a lustrous, decorative appearance and increasing resistance to wear and heat. This results in a more durable and visually appealing surface for residential and commercial spaces.

Q: How do mica chips contribute to thermal insulation in ceramics?

A: Due to their high melting point (~1200C) and stable crystalline structure, mica chips act as excellent thermal insulators in ceramic manufacturing, helping to conserve heat and protect components during high-temperature processing.
